Larry Barker, “Mr. Rudiment”, Drums

With decades of experience, Larry has seen it all. He’s shared the stage with countless musicians and has both opened for and headlined with national acts. The Front Range is in his blood, and this Colorado boy has a beat to match any tune. Larry has been playing drums since he could walk! Don’t let him hide back there, come over and say hello.

Frank Kolonics, “Frankie Mott—Master of the Telecaster”, Lead and Backing Guitars

Frankie can play any kind of music—and play it well. A virtual jukebox of tunes, it seems like there’s nothing he hasn’t played before. Frank’s background of classic rock, metal, country, and popular music lends an amazing flavor to both songwriting and playing. He’s called Colorado home for many years, though he has an old-world background. Frank is the real deal—you just have to meet him.

Nathan Rich, “The Machine”, Bass

Born and raised in the Texas hills, Nate brings deep country structure to Buck Sergeant, as well as high-energy rock progressions and fills. Nate keeps it all together in many ways. A knowledgeable and talented musician, he moves all around the stage, bringing energy and excitement to every show we play.

Steve Johnson, “Major Bone”, Lead and Backing Guitars

A former MMA fighter, The Major does everything with one thing in mind—a rock-solid foundation. Rooted in a classical and melodic musical background, Steve has been playing guitar since high school. An innovative creator of riffs, the Colorado native can bring both fury and heartfelt emotion, whether playing lead or rhythm.

Doc Rawlins, Lead Vocals and Backing Guitar

From small-town Kansas, Doc has been singing in front of people since he was 5. The main songwriter of Buck Sergeant, Doc, doesn’t claim to play guitar very well, but just well enough to crank out some tunes. A baritone with tenor tendencies, Doc’s sometimes rich, sometimes raspy voice and sharp wit will entertain most any crowd.
